Podcasting

Have you heard of Podcasting?

A podcast is a collection of digital media files distributed over the internet, often using syndication feeds, for playback on portable media players and personal computers.
The great thing about podcasts is that they can be listened to at the user's convenience, whether commuting to work, out for a walk, or relaxing at a coffee shop.
Podcasts come in two formats: Audio or video. If your mp3 player supports video, things can be really cool, especially podcasts such as news sources, where you can get a daily video of the news and watch at your leisure.

You can find most podcasts on iTunes.com or other directories such as Podcasting Station, Videocasting Station, PodCast411, Podcasting News, or Podcast Directory. There are many more...just Google "Podcasting".

In the scouting world there are not a whole lot of podcasts to choose from. The list below is not complete but will give you a sampling of what is out there.

Enjoy a whole new word of media!
