No-Trace and Low-Impact Camping

Many people and groups practice the Leave-No-Trace principles that have been
in use for many years. But there are also some backpackers and campers that have no knowledge of the wonderful ideas that makes this program make so much sense.
The following websites offer great ideas and information on how to put into practice the No-Trace program.

By following these ideas, this will ensure that future generations will be able to continue to use the great outdoors for many years to come.

On a lighter note, I came across this device in my local Valhalla Pure Outdoor Store and thought that I would mention it because it helps support the Leave No Trace ethic of minimizing your backpacking impact.

The iPood is a great device and kinda funny at the same time! Neat thing is that this "iPood Shovel" does not appear to need any upgrades!
